Members of the Conservatory Outlet Network were recognised for their achievements at the recent GGP Installer Awards
Held at the historic Royal Albert Hall in Manchester, the GGP Installer Awards celebrates the work of the UK’s home improvement sector. In a few short years since its inception, the awards ceremony has become a key date in the calendar with the nation’s leading designers and installers all vying to be recognised for their life-changing in transforming people’s homes and businesses.
This year, we were delighted to see two Network members recognised across multiple categories. Hazlemere was credited for their outstanding work in two categories, Best Residential Installation (with a value of £20,000 or less) and Best Commercial Installation, whilst our North-West retailer, Conservatory Outlet, was put forward for the UK’s Best Conservatory or Orangery Installation (with a value over £35,000).
After leaving last year’s ceremony with the overall prize for the Best Conservatory or Orangery Installation (with a value of over £35,000), we were thrilled to see Conservatory Outlet receive a special, highly commended award for their work in renovating a residential property in Worsley, Greater Manchester.
Clearview’s project saw our Leyland-based retail partner completely transform a much-loved family home by creating a stunning full-width extension. Previously, the homeowners had extendend the property one two separate occasions, adding a conservatory and then building a single-storey kitchen extension. Over the years, these rooms had become unfit for purpose, with the conservatory becomming unbearable due to outdated glazing and inefficient frames.
With a growing extended family, they decided to merge these two spaces and create a safe and welcoming environment for their grandchildren and extended family.
Conservatory Outlet worked with the couple to design and built a double atrium orangery that was not only an archetectural showpiece, once again allowed the house to be the communal hub of a loving and close-knit family.
