We are delighted to announce that Conservatory Outlet has received three nominations for the upcoming West Yorkshire Apprenticeship Awards.

The West Yorkshire Apprenticeship Awards celebrates and recognises individuals and companies that excel across the county. Championed by the Yorkshire Evening Post, the ceremony will take place at Tileyard North in Wakefield, a stone’s throw from our Thornes Lane Wharf head office and manufacturing facility.

Thanks to our leading apprenticeship programme, we are in the running to be named West Yorkshire’s leading SME Apprentice Employer of the Year. We’re thrilled to have been shortlisted as it highlights how successful our programme is across the business and how it’s benefitted countless people across the region and the wider fenestration sector.

After being praised by the Mayor of West Yorkshire, Tracy Brabin, earlier in the year for our work in providing apprenticeship pathways, we’ve got our fingers crossed that we’ll be taking the grand prize back home across the Calder!

Also up for awards on the evening are Nikki Lewis (Degree Apprentice of the Year) and Michelle Wooton (Mentor of the Year).

Nikki has recently completed her Level 6 apprenticeship in Marketing Management and leads our exceptional marketing team, whilst Michelle oversees various departments and plays a crucial role in developing our early-stage apprentices across our Order Processing, Purchasing and Customer Service divisions.

We’re all looking forward to the big day, where we’ll have our fingers crossed that our team will walk away with a few trophies!
