Clearview Home Improvements, one of our Premium Retailers, has received the nationally recognised CHAS (The Contractor’s Health and Safety Scheme) accreditation as part of its ongoing commitment to deliver excellence in the sector.

CHAS offers a trusted, third-party framework that ensures accredited members meet high health and safety standards.

Clearview has been awarded the status of Principal Contractor, which places the Leyland-based installer of windows, doors and living spaces alongside major housebuilders and giants of the construction sector.

Richard Ashley, Clearview’s Operations Director, noted that the CHAS accreditation is a fantastic landmark for the business.

He added: “It demonstrates to homeowners that our practices are second-to-none and that when we work on their properties, we do so in a regulated and safe manner. We’re one of a handful of companies in our field with this leading accreditation.

“It’s only the beginning of an ongoing process to ensure that Clearview is the leader regarding quality and health and safety within the fenestration and construction sectors.”

To be awarded Principal Contractor status, Clearview had to undergo a rigorous 20-point assessment of its existing health and safety practices, specifically relating to its training, best practices and live site audits.

Becoming CHAS accredited further positions Clearview as a leader in the sector, as the North West home improvement firm was named the Installer of the Year at G-Awards, the industry’s premier award ceremony.
