No, you’re not mistaken. The Envisage window has been modelled on a traditional flush casement window, which appealed to the heart of this householder. The lines and proportions couldn’t be more identical, and the woodgrain finish is exactly like the effect generated on a timber window. Customers have gone crazy for Envisage windows, as this installation exemplifies. Finished in a classic Golden Oak, it’s amazing how many people have mistaken them for the original windows. They merge in beautifully with the stonework. 

Envisage windows can offer one of a choice of openings and it was entirely the householder’s decision as to which suited them most. They were also allowed to accessorise the windows with their preferred form of hardware. Monkeytail handles were what they wanted and it was a wise selection as they would be present on most original flush casements - we copied the historic detailing of a traditional monkeytail handle. Prior to the window installation, it was the lawn that grabbed the attention, but the new Envisage windows have stolen the limelight from it. The house has been elevated by the addition, no question about it!
