A thoughtfully designed conservatory gives the Gale family the peaceful, year-round reading space their new home needed.
Shortly after retirement, the Gale family opted to sell their three-storey townhouse in southern England and relocate to Scotland to be closer to several family members.
After some searching, they found their ideal home. It had a large enough garden for them and was in a lovely area, close to many amenities. It boasted great transport links too. But it lacked one thing – a standout space that the couple could use to read and relax in.
Once settled in, the couple set about rectifying that one drawback. They spoke to several companies about building a rear-facing conservatories to provide them with the extra space they wanted. However, for various reasons, they never felt quite sure about pulling the trigger on the work.
