Customer Reviews

We were extremely pleased with all the different elements of our new Conservatory roof. Every issue was quickly addressed both by the Administration Team- (EF) & tradespeople. Quality of work was impeccable- top class.  We were treated with great respect & consideration in all areas.

Very professional job from start to finish  The insulation team were very professional, helpful and polite  All the windows and doors are extremely good quality  Would highly recommend recommend Five Star Widows

Brilliant service from quote to installation, everything went smoothly. The installation took no time at all and the installer was neat and tidy in all aspects. Our house is noticeably less drafty and we'll be in touch for further improvements in the future.

Happy to recommend 5* from initial design, customer service communication and finally the excellent installer, 5* were always on the ball. Cost was well below what we had expected for such a premium product. Would certainly recommend

Outstanding Quality, Service and Value: This is the second time I've used ERG Scotland. The whole process from initial contact, through a visit by the sales person, visit by the surveyor and fitting was fast and seamless. The design of the windows is ideally suited to the extreme weather we experience in the Highlands. I have no hesitation in recommending ERG to others.

Excellent service would highly recommend The whole experience was stress free The fitters were brilliant you would never know they’d been when they left, cleared up everything

I have over the years chosen ERG products and always reliable and good value

Jody and Dillon helped remove fittings in my conservatory before the job started. The men were all very pleasant and did a really good job and went above and beyond what they needed to do to help me. I am very pleased with my conservatory now that it is insulated I'm sure I'll be able to use it a lot more. I would definitely recommend the whole team!

Very good service from first visit to installation.

Good communication, excellent technical advice and professional fitting. Would recommend ERG to anyone.

Flawless ordering, comms and execution

We engaged ERG to fit two composite doors in our house. From the start of the process until the end, they were friendly and professional. There was no pressure to buy from them. Their fitter was a dream. He did the doors in a day. There was no mess and he tidied everything up before he left. He asked if we were happy with doors before he left. They took all our old doors and rubbish away. I would not hesitate in using ERG again.

I wanted to share my very positive recent experience with ERG. I have been looking for a specialist window for a cabin I am building and have tried a few other local firms without success. I spoke with Siobhan Bird from ERG on a few occasions refining the details / specification and have now placed my order at a very attractive price. Siobhan has been fantastic to deal with throughout with prompt, professional and personal service at every stage and is a excellent ambassador for the firm. I would have no hesitation in recommending ERG on the basis of this interaction. Thank you

So pleased and the whole service from start to finish was excellent. The change in doors was very quick and end result amazing with patio doors and back door replaced including integral blinds which will make huge difference in next heat wave!

We bought our house from new and it had a cheap front door fitted by the builders. Drafty and poorly fitted and we'd had to get the lock repaired 3 times. By comparison our 5 Star door is amazing. The bigger window lets in so much more light and the door fits snuggly and securely. The handle and the lock is clearly quality material. The frame that is fitted is quality compliments the door so well.  We never planned on getting a new door until someone from 5 Star knocked on the door. So pleased we took the plunge.

Very impressed with 5 Star from initial quote to final installation. We are so pleased with our new doors and windows. The fitting team were very professional, no mess and their finishing detail was incredible. Everything looks so nice. Will definitely be using 5 Star again and will be recommending them to friends and family.

Both conservatory and roofline components were of good quality. Fitters were competent and worked efficiently. They were polite and helpful and cleaned up when installations had been completed. The office staff were also polite and helpful and all work went ahead as planned. Prices were competative. We wouldn't hesitate to use this company again if we need similar work done in the future.

I recently had new UPVC window installed, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The initial Sales / Window Designer was excellant in his presentation, quotation and folllow up proceedures. On the day of fitting the team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and showed real care in both the installation and the finishing details. The windows themselves are solid, well‑constructed. The installers attention to detail was clear—the frame was level, seals were neat, and the final result looks clean and modern. The locking mechanisms feel secure, and the smooth opening and closing show the quality of the workmanship. Overall, this was a professional, reliable, and high‑quality installation, and I’m very pleased with the outcome. This company have been a pleasure to deal with and I would confidently recommend 5 Star to anyone considering upgrading their windows.

Everything worked well and seems very thorough and we are satisfied with the product and the construction on the day

At all stages from initial sales , survey, scaffolding erection and dismantling to completion of installation, everything ran smoothly and all work was done with quiet efficiency and completed on time

Highly recommend 5 Star Kidderminster - had replacement doors and windows at a great price. Whole transaction was friendly but professional. Make sure your printer has ink and paper - the contract is extremely long! The fitters (two on day 1, 3, and 4, four on day 2) were great chaps and went beyond their duty. All-in-all it was a pain-free and quick (relatively) transaction.

I am very pleased with the service from 5 Star. From the consultation with the designer, the visit from the surveyor and the actual fitters on the day, I had everything explained and everyone was very professional. Phone calls and emails from the administrative staff were timely and made sure the process ran smoothly. I can recommend 5 Star for supplying an excellent product and I am very happy with the appearance and function of my new windows.

This is the 3rd time I have used 5 Star Windows. On this occasion I had a new door from the porch into the hall. As with my other jobs, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. From start to finish I could not fault customer service, and as previously, the price was most competitive. I would heartily recommend this company.

Fabulous job completed on our house which involved replacing all windows, front and interior door. Sales team very helpful, installation team efficient and reliable and any concerns have been dealt with in a timely fashion. Great customer service from a local business.

Erg were fantastic from initial enquiry about replacement doors and window to instillation. The range of products we had to choose from was good. All the team that came to the house were very curtious and professional and have us good advise. The day of installation was amazing the team worked so hard to do the installation and explained what they were doing as they went along and left the house tidy after finishing.

Visit from the rep was quite some time ago, as I needed to have additional work completed by my builder before the door could be fitted. 5 Star kept in contact to see if I was ready, but I had to keep putting them off! Once I was finally ready for the work to be completed, it was scheduled inside two weeks. The fitter was delayed on the day, as he had been asked to call at another site en route, but not excessively so. The only downside to the fitting was that it was on a cold day, with several hailstorms - not the ideal conditions to have a gaping hole in the wall! Of course, that was completely beyond our control. The new door looks lovely, and is just what I wanted, fitting in well with my Victorian home.

ERG fitted seven windows for us recently. From the initial pricing visit, to the measuring up, and to the installation itself, everything was straightforward and seamless. Thank you to Alan and John for your neat and tidy professionalism.

EXCELLENT QUALITY REPLACEMENT DOOR AND WINDOWS. EFFICIENTLY AND QUICKLY DONE BY EXPERT OPERATIVES WITH AMIR KHAN ESPECIALLY GOOD. FROM INITIAL CONTACT TO FINAL COMPLETION FIRST CLASS SERVICE WELL DONE

Door looks amazing absolutely delighted, from first enquiry with office staff to getting the door, whole process was great. Would highly recommend ERG to friends and family. Thanks again 🤩

ERG came and replaced my windows earlier this year. Service was excellent and well priced. I am very impressed with the final results. All windows in the house were replaced within a day and a half by one guy working on his own. Cannot find any faults with the installation. Would highly recommend

Very pleased with my new front door. It's far better quality than the one that came with the house when I bought it as a new build and adds a bit of individuality to my home. The whole process from initial enquiry, through the quoting and surveying process, to the installation and final payment was very easy and efficient. Would recommend.

I recently had a new bay window fitted by 5 Star Windows, and was very pleased with it. Their representative asked if I was considering any other work, and I mentioned I may be interested in a new porch. Their quote was so competitive, I asked them to do the job. As with the bay window, I am very happy with it.

Had a couple of windows replaced, new ones were perfect quality and installed neatly with minimum disruption to surrounding surfaces. I was most impressed with the installation workmanship. All the work was done quickly and everything cleared up too. Highly recommended.

Excellent service from Anthony and Curtis.  Could not fault their work. Very tidy and professional. Very happy. Thanks so much!

From the first visit from the sales staff to the actual fitting the service we recived was faultless. All staff were professional, polite and friendly. The fitters were amazing, they were friendly and so respectfully of our property. They were so tidy, and left everything clean and tidy. Cannot recommend they enough. A beautiful product with old fashioned professionalism,

After several years suffering draughts from our front door , we finally decided to replace after having a 5 star leaflet dropped off. Especially as it was sale time ,visited the showroom and decided on a beautiful door guaranteed to be draught free. Was able to see door in situ, colours and different glass options. Chose bi coloured door brown/ cream and the process was thorough and professional. We had regular contact as to measuring up and expected timescales for delivery and fitting. Only small disappointment was that the supplier had issues and our fitting had to be delayed by a month. However our new door was fitted as expected on Friday, our fitter was fantastic, professional and friendly. We are over the moon with the result.

Very professional and quick installation. Friendly fitters ready to explain things as fitting progressed. All waste taken away and hardly a sign they had been there. Would recommend 5 Star

I have used 5 Star several times over the years and in two different properties. On each occasion I have received excellent service, the fitters have always been polite, friendly and very good at their jobs. I would happily recommend 5 Star to my friends.

Everything went smoothly and very quickly. Clear up of the rooms and outside area the end of the installation was super.

This was the second batch of windows we have had done and as with the first the service was excelent. From the initial sales person through the survey contacts from the officde and finally the install. The first batch were fitted over 15 years ago and are still working perfectly. We would recomend to all.

Very professional, the measurement, what I wanted, the price agreed, and deposit and final price. The installation was clean and easy.

The salesman was not pushy went through the details of the doors etc and gave us a price and said he would leave it with us to decide when ever we wanted. ( I've sold Double glazing products, so I know my stuff about doors and windows etc. and good quality of products) The surveyor came and measured more accurately, which gave us an even better option for one of the doors. The fitter arrived and politely introduced himself as Neil, he made a start getting all fours doors fitted then went round stating the trims etc , he made sure there was dust sheets down where he was working and gave great detail to the finishing touches ( In total it was 1.5 days to fit the four doors)

The men came promptly at the time specified, were polite and answered my questions. They did the work expertly and swiftly and did a great job of clearing up afterwards. They also took time to explain the window fastening. The windows look amazing, such a great improvement and I am very pleased with the result. I would recommend ERG anytime.

From start to finish, the engagement and communication, in person visits/meetings, installation and aftercare has been brilliant. ERG are an organisation that I trust and would recommend to anyone.

Thank you for your kind feedback! We're really pleased to hear you were happy with the efficiency of the service and that everything was resolved quickly under warranty. If you ever need anything else, don’t hesitate to get in touch we are always happy to help.

So delighted with ERG Scotland. Went on holiday and left a key for the installers. They came in and fitted all new windows throughout the house so when we came home, all completed to a fantastic finish. I would never have known they had been there. Thank you to all the staff for a brilliant job. Cannot thank you all enough. 😊😊

We ordered through 5-Star knowing they were local & knowing Ross who works there. Ross helped us tremendously throughout our purchase alongside the installation crew at the time of install. The process took longer than expected but we did order a door to be designed & built & then found it was being built over in Ireland. The wait was, now we have it, well worth it!  Thanks Ross & the whole team.  Always on hand now for any aftercare we may need.

The team were fantastic and everyone was very helpful. Highly recommend erg the windows looked fantastic and I’m so happy with them. Everyone I spoke to were lovely and never once did I feel pressured into buying anything. The guys who came to fit them did a fantastic job

The work was carried out over five days in March 2026. The first three days was spent removing the existing polycarbonate roof and replacing it with a Livin Roof Utech Panels Aqua Glazing. The next two days involved boarding and plastering the ceiling. The quality of the work and materials used was outstanding and beautifully finished. The fitting team and plasterer were pleasant to have in our home and showed a genuine keenness and concern to get the best result. They are true professionals, very 5 Star quality and value for money.

I can’t praise the window fitters enough very clean workers and appreciate that they considered that I have breathing difficulties and tried to keep doors close as much as possible. Very impressed by how they cleaned up afterwards and never left a mess.

From start to finish 5* windows have been very good, the process could not have gone better. From our first interaction with Mick, who couldn’t have been more helpful to the installation by Lee who was brilliant. I would 100% recommend this company.

Great experience from start to finish. I was kept informed all the way through the process from the initial Sales enquiry to the installation. Installation team was brilliant, exceptional attention to detail. The finish product exceeded our expectations.

From start to finish a first class service

From first going in to the showroom to have a look round to the final installation the service has been excellent. Thanks a lot. Gordon and Alice.

Excellent service from start to finish. From the initial call, quote, survey and installation. Installers were very efficient and tidy. Delighted with the end result.

Amazing to be able to support a local business - everything was great and really professional, very friendly staff, kept us up to date and informed throughout the process. The door we had fitted was exactly as expected and very very well fitted. Having fitted doors personally and also had many doors fitted over the years at varying properties this is amongst the neatest job I have seen. The fitter was brilliant with letting the wee man ask questions and be nosey 🤣 Thanks so much guys! Jim.

This is my second time using ERG Scotland. Yesterday the team fitted a new front door and three new windows, to add to my patio door and back door that ERG did a couple of years back. From the initial appointment to completion everything went smoothly. Great workmanship and were noticing the lack of draughts already. Would highly recommend ERG to anyone looking to replace doors and windows. Thanks guys.

Have had windows, doors and roofline all supplied and fitted by ERG. Great service, no hard sales pitch and good communication throughout!

We were very pleased with how the windows looked when the job was completed. Initially after the windows were installed there was a few things that required tidying up but 5 Star soon organised someone to come out and make a snagging list followed by the fitter visiting to sort out the issues and rectify them to our satisfaction.

We had Bi-fold doors supplied and fitted in October 2025 and have to say we are very pleased, they are absolutely stunning. From the initial relaxed chat with Dean in the showroom there is no sales pressure and he was happy to answer any questions we had. The two fitters Dave & Martin were very professional and helpful and a credit to Eden. We have no hesitation in having Eden again for our next project. Thank you Mr Stuart J King

Everything from the initial appointment and quote to completion was faultless. Every email was replied to promptly, the installers were pleasant, tidy and went out of their way to provide the service expected.

Efficient; excellent product; high quality workmanship; good communication re work schedule; friendly service from installers and associates and office staff

The company from start to finish was excellent 👌 the boy that fitted the windows was excellent

Excellent service from placing the order to completion

Great service from start to finish. High quality products. I would highly recommend 5star.

I found ERG very efficient from Quote to fitting. When looking for a new front door ERG were the best value for money, the rep went through the options on what was the best door for our house and was very knowledgeable about all the doors in the catalogue. The engineer who fitted the door was very thorough and made very little mess and made a neat job of fitting the door. The new door has made a big difference to the warmth to the house but not only that the look of the front of the house. ERG have given me a great service and a good quality door at a very reasonable price.

We chose 5 Star as they had carried out work on another property for us. From start to finish the service we received was excellent. From the sales staff to the fitters, our jobs were stress-free. Sales team explained what was available and the cost (No hidden extras). We were given dates for the fitting of the products ( 11 windows followed at a later date by patio doors). The fitters arrived on time on the specified dates, and worker efficiently and professionally with brilliant attention to detail. At the end of each day the site was left clean and tidy. The reason that we mention "Jobs" is because we were so impressed with the initial installation of the windows that we elected to have our patio door replaced at a later date. We have been so impressed by both the service we received and the quality of the products, we would recommend 5 Star to anyone considering replacement windows and doors

The quality of the windows and door is excellent. The process from quotation by Colin to survey by David and support from Caitlin was clear, straightforward and helpful by all involved. Kieran the fitter was polite and helpful and the internal finish he completed was excellent.

From beginning to end all trades were excellent and couldn’t fault them. However what let the Company down was the administration! Booked dates then confirmed different dates. Booking electrician same time as clean down. Clean down only thought they had doors left to clean when in actual fact whole project,  so delayed. If they sort the admin out would be 5*

Very pleased with our new patio doors. They look great, and are exactly what we wanted. Seamless process, from measuring up and quoting to final installation. Lee, the fitter was extremely professional, tidy, efficient has made an excellent job of fitting them for us.

We are in the process of renovation our home in Totalnd and started what I thought would be the dreaded process of finding a com many to do provide a quotation to replace all the doors and windows with new powder coated flush casement aluminium joinery. We ended up nailing it down to two companies, both local and with good reputations, and after meeting both, settled up Jordan to carry out the work. We went to their show room in Newport and were immediately impressed by the friendly reception (Abbie?). We then met Callum, one of the sales chaps who was a total delight and not at all your archetypal double glazing salesman. He was very knowledgeable, gave all the time we needed and took care look to show us all the options in the show room which was hugely helpful as we could see exactly what would be getting. Callum then came out to the house to do a comprehensive survey, again, taking time to answer any questions, put forward suggestions that might help and then went away to work out the quotation. Again, no pressure selling at any point.  We awarded Jordan the contract feeling confident that we would be getting great quality windows and just as importantly, service. This was quickly confirmed when Steve came to do the surveying and has been back a couple of times since to make absolutely sure he was happy with what was being made. We are now very excited about seeing the new doors and windows starting to go in as of the 1st December. Great products, excellent service so far and fair pricing. Oh yes, that reminds me; their price includes the removal and disposal of all the old joinery and doors which is great. Many thanks Callum, Steve, Abie and all at Joedan - we can't wait to see the new joinery going in!

Fantastic service and workmanship from First quote to fitting great price and the work men left the place spotless

Professional and friendly from start to finish. Our new doors look beautiful and won't hesitate to have you back for the windows.

Everything from the planning to the build and completion has been straightforward and professional. We kept informed about the timings and processes involved at each stage. The finished extension is perfect and the finish immaculate, we are delighted with it!

Very happy with windows first class service from start to finish. The fitter was really good very tidy at his job a asset to your firm. Would recommend ERG to anyone planing new windows.
