A TradeMark victory as Conservatory Outlet celebrates a decade of its annual Network Golf Day.

Conservatory Outlet invited members from its 27-strong retail Network to Shrigley Hall, near Macclesfield, to compete in its much-loved Network Golf Day.

A TradeMark victory at the Conservatory Outlet Network Golf Day

This sporting excursion follows hot on the heels of five other events that the West Yorkshire-based fabricator has hosted in the recent months, such as a Sales and Marketing conference in Manchester, Operational-seminars in London and Glasgow, and an industry training course held at its headquarters in Wakefield.

Now in its tenth year, the annual tournament saw teams from across the United Kingdom descend on the picturesque Cheshire hotel to take part in 18-holes of competition, networking and an evening’s celebration.

With the weather flittering between sunshine and showers, the typical British summer failed to dampen the spirits of the fifty-plus entrants who battled it out for individual and team honours. And although the temperatures were somewhat below par for early June, the competition was certainly not.

TradeMark Windows blazed their way around the course to claim the overall team prize, beating both Clearview Home Improvements and 5 Star Windows and Conservatories by a solitary shot.

Individual honours went to Richard Manser of 5 Star, who won the Nearest the Pin competition, and Ryan Smith of County the Home Improvers, who walked away with the prize for the day’s longest drive.

Conservatory Outlet CEO, Greg Kane, said: “Our annual golf event has been a much-loved and longstanding event in our Network’s calendar. It’s been fantastic to see our retailers come together once again. Events such as this showcase the strength of our Network.

“Congratulations to all the winners, especially TradeMark. I know how much this victory means to them as it gives them Network-wide bragging rights for 12 months.

“The Conservatory Outlet Network Golf Day is always a fantastic event,” added Mark Ashwell, TradeMark’s Managing Director.

“From start to finish it was a well-organised tournament and I’m grateful to Conservatory Outlet for another successful competition – and we’re delighted to have won!

He continued: “After the disruption caused by the pandemic, the rate at which they have been able to bounce back and put on Network-wide events such as this has been remarkable. It’s greatly appreciated and it’s incredibly valuable. Away from the course, it gives us the chance to speak with like-minded businesses, benchmark and further improve our businesses.”

Greg Kane added: “As much as our Network Golf Day is about a spot of friendly competition amongst our Network members, it provides everybody with the chance to come together and discuss business and operational strategies. Our model is unique in that regard. We foster community because as a collective, we are far stronger.”

He concluded: “With more events lined up throughout 2022 and beyond, we’re excited to help our retailers continue to thrive.”
