A recent customer of Kent-based dealership Eden Windows is extremely thankful that they chose to invest in new windows from the firm

Security is the home is a major concern for many householders and understandably so as the last thing anyone wants is for all their worldly possessions to be taken from their grasp; the very thought of it happening is enough to make your stomach churn with anxiousness. When you set off for work and leave your property unoccupied or put the lock on the door before heading up to bed last thing at night you should rightly be able to do so with some confidence. If you don’t feel such assurance then you need to invest in new windows and doors from one of our nationwide dealerships as each of our designs come fitted and installed with the latest secure measures. A recent customer of Kent-based dealership Eden Windows is extremely thankful that they chose to invest in new windows from the firm as the above picture highlights. As you can see, an attempt was made by a thief to break...

It is a phenomenal achievement and one well worthy of acknowledgement

The Champagne has been flowing north of the border for our Scottish-based dealership Mitchell Glass as the Galashiels firm celebrates a remarkable 140 years in the home improvement industry. Established on 10th April 1875 by Robert Mitchell as a glass merchant and glazing business in the borders town of Hawick, the company originally became renowned for supplying the mills in the area with rooflight glazing. Robert’s philosophy, one which has remained to this day, was to ensure that the needs of his customers were always put first, something that he openly publicised in an advertisement in the local newspaper stating the application of a “strict attention to orders”. This way of thinking has enabled Mitchell Glass to survive several recessions. So that the needs of customers were satisfied from the outset Mitchell Glass dedicated itself to manufacturing high-quality...

Mr Russell of Gillingham is certainly thankful that he put the time aside to evaluate the efforts of Kent-based Eden Windows

Little did he know when uploading his invaluable feedback to our customer reviews page that it would pay off so handsomely. “Very good installation, clean and efficient. Steady work not rushed, tidied and cleaned up when finished. Careful workers,” commented Mr Russell. We were also extremely pleased to see that he also gave Eden a perfect score of 5 out of 5 who currently enjoy an extremely high customer recommendation rating, testimony to the exceptional standard...

There was a huge honour bestowed upon Conservatory Outlet this week when the firm was named in amongst an elite group of companies in the second annual list of ‘1000 Companies To Inspire Britain’. Compiled by the London Stock Exchange and backed up by all three main political parties, Conservatory Outlet is one of just 75 companies from Yorkshire & The Humber to make the list which identifies the UK’s 1,000 most exciting and dynamic small and medium-sized businesses. Only 87 of those highlighted in the report similarly come from the construction industry. To be eligible for inclusion, businesses must have existed for at least three years, be UK-based and have posted a turnover between £6million and £250million over the past 12 months. Companies on the list also demonstrated growth in revenue over the last four years, and increases in both workforce...

Though it hasn’t been the harshest of winters, you’ll still likely be happy that the coldest season of the year is nearing its conclusion and that better, bright, sunnier weather is hopefully on its way as we approach spring and await the clocks going forward. There’s something about the sunshine and a little bit of warmth that helps, pardon the pun, put a spring in your step as it can leave you feeling re-energised and positively transform your mood. We find that the best place to embrace the spring and summer climate whilst in the home is in a conservatory or orangery. The moment the sun comes into contact with a home extension, the entire structure will illuminate right before your very eyes and make it feel incredibly airy and spacious. Because they come fitted with modern double glazed windows you can expect a comfortable ambience around the clock too so that...

Mobile browsing has intensified at a dramatic rate over the past few years, leading to its eventual overtaking of the desktop PC due to the explosion of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. With 53% of internet searches now being conducted on a mobile device, it has become progressively important that businesses cater for this change in browsing habits by upgrading their digital platform to a fully responsive website so that customers are offered a mobile-friendly and positive online experience. That’s why we are in the midst of creating a series of fully responsive websites for several of our retailers designed to automatically condense the size of the content viewable on a desktop site to make it more easily digestible on the form of device utilised. This permanently eliminates the need for zooming or shrinking. We’ve increasingly found that consumers are...

2015 is a milestone year for the Conservatory Outlet dealership as later this year we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary as a network; a significant landmark in any walk of life we’re sure you’ll agree.

From our manufacturing base in Yorkshire, we have made enormous strides over the past decade and now have installation partners across the UK with more than 30 top-end indoor showrooms, offering the latest window, door, conservatory and orangery solutions.

We’re not opening the champagne just yet though, and when we do we’ll be sure not to rest on our laurels. Instead we’ll be looking forward to the next 10 years and striving to further improve on what we do.

We will be properly marking the occasion later in the year, during the month of our actual anniversary, so keep your eyes peeled on the blog.

Prior to the Christmas period the finishing touches were applied to a brand new online platform for Worcestershire-based Conservatory Outlet Dealer, 5 Star Windows & Conservatories, and the redesigned site is now officially live in time for 2015. The previous version of the site had been in existence for around three years and served its clients well with information, image galleries and ways to contact the company, but 5 Star felt that a contemporary transformation would further enhance its usefulness. Keenly aware that their website is the first port of call for many customers, they have ensured that the new site more effectively showcases their full array of home improvement offerings and provides a sleek and simple navigational user experience.  Particular emphasis has been given to ensuring that imagery utilised throughout the site is of the highest quality with many of...
