Planet South Lakes latest radio advert banned by Abbey FM in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria

Planet South Lakes latest Radio Advert is banned from Abbey FM radio station in Barrow. Thankfully Lakeland Radio & Bay Radio based in Morecambe, Lancaster and the South Lakes area are happy to play the advert…but not Abbey FM – Shame!  Planet South Lakes are receiving some fantastic feedback from customers visiting the showroom about the Ad.

All the Planet piggies travel in their little van, to find a better window company across the land, they found some windows that were beautiful and white, but they weren’t made to measure so they were a load of SFX!!!!!

They continued on their mission as across the land they sped, ignored the quality and went for price instead, they found a one man band, he reckoned he was it but he went bankrupt so his guarantee was SFX!!!!

Well another window company was almost in the frame, from a distance the quality could pass as being the same, but on closer inspection there was a little gap because the frames were rubbish and the glass was SFX!!!

   We are not really sure why Abbey decided to Ban the advert – a little disappointed to say the least. Thankfully Lakeland Radio & Bay Radio did not have an issue with the advert.

   And subsequently Abbey Fm folded! Talk about shooting yourself in the foot or biting the hand that feeds! Planet were Abbey’s biggest (in revenue terms) advertiser.

   I love these adverts, I listen to bay radio all the time when I’m driving and they never fail to make me laugh.
