Llandudno, North Wales based Conwy Valley Windows has joined the Conservatory Outlet network of dealers.

Conwy Valley Windows is a family-run business with 36 years of service to its name, and it recently decided to join Conservatory Outlet after deciding to focus more on internet marketing. The company was set up by Trevor Owen, who explained that Conwy had traditionally won work through recommendation, but the proliferation of the ‘white van man’ installing inferior products encouraged him to only install A rated windows, and to look for a new way of promoting the business.

“Both Bob Sugden (co-Director) and I read about Conservatory Outlet in the press, and we were impressed with how the company supported its customers and how it generated leads through the internet,” Trevor explained. “Sure enough, our custom-built website went live on December 22, and in the two weeks over Christmas it generated eight extra leads.”

Trevor said the relationship is perfect for him because Conwy Valley Windows still maintains its independence. “We still maintain our identity, and we are still trading under our own name,” he said.

Conservatory Outlet’s managing director, Matthew Glover, said that a recent recruitment drive sent him on a mission to find the country’s leading installers. “We started out as a Yorkshire-based operation, but the success of our internet marketing simply knows no bounds,” he said. “Therefore, I’ve travelled the length and breadth of Britain to offer our growing reputation to like-minded companies.”

Matthew explained that he had recruited the services of a sales director – Greg Kane – and that as the Conservatory Outlet family grew, so did the knowledge and experience of the whole network.
