After a very long winter, homeowners up and down the UK will be anticipating and looking forward to a much warmer summer. There are few better ways to enjoy a warm summers day than from the inside of a beautiful conservatory, especially when you open the doors onto the garden. A conservatory allows you to take advantage of the sun yet still relax in the comfort of your home, an ideal ability when holding garden parties for family and friends. One of the most important parts of the conservatory buying process is understanding exactly what you need and which style will best suit your property and needs.
The most traditional styles of conservatory are those that you are most likely familiar with as they are installed in thousands of homes up and down the UK. They can be personalised to some degree with certain glazing options and are available in several great colours, but ultimately, they all have the same look and feel.
There are fortunately several ways in which homeowners can opt to stand out from the crowd and one of these is to install an

Last week saw over 170 exhibitors take part in the inaugural Fabricator and Installer Trade (FIT) show in Telford to great success, including Conservatory Outlet who became one of the first exhibiting companies to sign up for next year’s event.
Over the course of three days, almost 6,000 visitors descended upon The International Centre to witness the first industry exhibition dedicated to glass and glazing in more than five years.
Such was the level of audience response and buzz generated early on that Conservatory Outlet decided to rebook their 48sqm stand there and then, putting pen to paper on day two of the show.
The Wakefield firm were further persuaded to commit again after viewing a specially created promotional video officially launching FIT Show 2014 ‘The Next Installation’, unveiled by Creative Director Simon Iredale, at an exhibitor gathering attended by more than 600 people.
FIT Show 2013 was a triumph for Conservatory Outlet on two accounts.
It provided the double glazing and orangery specialists with a platform to launch a brand new product; Slimframe Aluminium, which was very extremely well received by existing Conservatory Outlet Dealers.
They also generated several solid enquiries from installers interested in becoming the next Conservatory Outlet Dealer; a network currently comprised of 21 separate home improvement companies.
Ben Wilson, Marketing Manager, at Conservatory Outlet commented:
“We decided to exhibit at The FIT Show instead of hosting our usual dealer conference. We had no expectations so far…
Leading trade fabricator Conservatory Outlet has reported that initial response to the recently implemented online customer review centre on its website has exceeded expectations.
Hundreds of homeowners have already left feedback on the review centre, recommending the services of their local Conservatory Outlet Dealer. These reviews can now be viewed on a newly created page on the Conservatory Outlet website which displays customer feedback soon after it has been submitted online.
The review centre gives potential customers the opportunity to see the most recent reviews left by previous clients, aiding them in their efforts to locate a reputable installer of conservatories, orangeries, windows and doors.
Visitors can even filter reviews by product type should they be after a particular home improvement. A postcode finder will also soon be added so that customers can trace their nearest dealer and then read reviews about the said dealer, before booking an appointment or requesting a brochure.
During the review process, customers are asked to rate the performance of their chosen double glazing dealer in a number of different areas from sales and marketing to design and installation, right down to the manners of the staff that they employ.
As it currently stands, 98% of customers would recommend the services of a Conservatory Outlet Dealer with a collective average score of 4.6 out of 5 given.
Each time a new dealer joins the network they will be added to the review centre accordingly, and customers who…
Feeling refreshed after a long and comfortable sleep is a real pleasure that we do not often get to experience. But when the opportunity comes along it does help in that it sets you up for the day and leaves you ready and willing to take on whatever lies ahead. Recharging your batteries on a regular basis is extremely important if you want to stay on top of your game.
However, sleeping patterns can be interrupted and the general stresses and strains of life can get the better of you at times which is enough to put even the most well natured person in the worst of moods. In cases such as this, you need to introduce a little bit of luxury into your life, particularly in your property.
Being able to shut yourself away from your daily routine really can pay off dividends. Whilst the living room, kitchen and dining room are nice places to spend any free time you are lucky enough to get, they do not always project an atmosphere that is favourable to relaxation, particularly if you have an extensive family.
How about swapping conventional home living in exchange for the many luxuries that conservatories can provide the contemporary property owner?
Sat at the rear of your home, a conservatory will be the perfect place to spend any spare time you have as it provides glorious views of the outdoors and a warm and comforting atmosphere around the clock. Each time the natural light of the…
