Which is the best conservatory company in Yorkshire?

Yorkshire Conservatories - which is the best conservatory company?

Like in all regions of the UK, there’s a lot of conservatory and double glazing companies in Yorkshire to choose from, but which company is the best?

Well, for an almost impartial view of Yorkshire conservatory companies, I try to provide most of the main companies you should consider getting a quote from.

Orion Windows - Orion are the major force for conservatories in North Yorkshire. With a glorious showroom in Harrogate, and an equally great showroom at their head office at Clifton Moor, York, they really know how to build the very best quality conservatories. They install conservatories, windows and doors throughout North and East Yorkshire, and have an impeccable reputation.

West Yorkshire Windows - this is the company I started with my brother in 1994. We’ve built a great reputation in the Wakefield and Huddersfield area installing at least 500 conservatories per year - we install throughout West Yorkshire, including Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Dewsbury, Batley, Pontefract and Castleford. Our showroom in Wakefield is the second best conservatory showroom in Yorkshire, after Orion’s excellent showroom in Harrogate.

Conservatory, Window & Door Outlet - these are the dealers for Mirfield and the surrounding area. I had my own conservatory installed by the fitters from Visual Effect - so what more recommendation can I give?

So which is the best company?

Well, I couldn’t really tell you that, could I? They’re all great companies. If you follow any of the links, you won’t go far wrong.

If you are looking for a quotation please fill in the conservatory quotation form and we will put you in touch with the best conservatory company in your area.

Conservatory Outlet Endorsed by Energy Saving Trust

Conservatory Outlet is in the final stages of registering its energy efficient windows with the Energy Saving Trust. The Energy Saving Trust (EST) is a non-profit organisation that provides free impartial advice on how to save money and fight climate change by reducing carbon dioxide emissions from your home.

Once approved by the EST, Conservatory Outlet will be awarded the ‘Energy Saving Recommended’ logo.

Energy Saving Recommended

You may have seen this logo on other products as its easy recognisable. The idea behind the logo is that whatever the product, whichever the labelling system - all you need to do is look for the ‘Energy Saving Recommended’ swing tag to be sure you are choosing energy efficient products.

The criteria is set by an independent panel and reviewed annually. In addition they test a percentage of their approved products so you can rest assured that where there’s a logo there’s a smarter choice.

For more information about ‘Energy Saving Recommended’ products visit the EST website.

Andrew Glover - Ride 4 Hope

Andrew Glover and John Olkiewicz from West Yorkshire Windows, have completed the Ride4Hope charity bike ride with the rest of the GM Fundraising team.

The Ride 4 Hope team consists of 12 cyclists from the glazing, construction and related industries, each having spent nearly 18 months training for this important and worthy challenge.

The 3000 mile bike ride from the East Coast to the West Coast of the USA has been a gruelling event, but for a very worthy cause.
Many of the cyclists will have already completed the Top 2 Bottom ride in 2005 which was a 974 mile trip from John O’Groats to Lands End. In 2006 several of the team also completed the Tower 2 Tower ride from Eiffel Tower, Paris to Blackpool Tower. Each of the Ride 4 Hope riders will demonstrate a commitment to achieving both personal goals and those for the raising of important funds for Hope House Children’s Hospices.

Hope House is a children’s hospice organisation providing care for terminally ill children and support for their families. Hope House has two hospices - at Oswestry, Shropshire and Conwy, North Wales - and also offers care in the family home. Support and counselling is offered to parents and other family members for as long as necessary.

Andrew has been updating the Conservatory Outlet team with daily emails, and today he’s relieved to have completed the challenge.

Well done Andrew and John!!
